The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC)
grants the Eye Surgery Center of Winchester (ESCW) a one year
Certificate of Accreditation (maximum term available) in
recognition of its commitment to high quality of care and
substantial compliance with the Accreditation Association
standards for ambulatory health care organizations.

Who Are We?
The Eye Surgery Center of Winchester (ESCW) is the first single specialty,
Ophthalmic outpatient
Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Winchester, Virginia.
Located at 525 Amherst Street, our facility
offers a relaxed, patient-focused environment, state-of-the-art
equipment, convenient access, ample parking, and an experienced
staff to meet your needs.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Eye Surgery Center
of Winchester shall include but is not necessarily limited
to the following:
1. Within the limits of community resources, to provide the
best facilities possible for the provision of ophthalmic
surgical care.
2. To coordinate and integrate the services of the Eye
Surgery Center with local hospitals and appropriate
healthcare agencies as may be required from time to time.
3. To conduct educational activities essential to the
attainment of its purpose.
4. To maintain an ophthalmic ambulatory surgical center
which will provide/maintain high quality care in conformance
with or exceeding the standards of the community.
5. To ensure patients’ rights and privileges are observed at
all times.
